About Keefer Consulting
I started my company with a desire to serve clients more effectively.
While experience as manager for a Fortune 500 company and a Big Four
professional services firm helped shape my capabilities and vision,
becoming an independent consultant has freed me to pursue more direct,
honest relationships with clients I admire.
I have defined business requirements, designed fit-for-purpose
solutions, and assumed leading roles in R&D and commercial IT projects
for companies including Merck, Pfizer, and GSK. I managed development
of the TMF Reference Model Exchange Mechanism Standard, Version 1 and
now serve as volunteer for the Clinical Data Interchange Standards
Consortium (CDISC).
I help biopharma companies transform clinical operations while
incorporating machine learning and a quality by design into system
acquisition and development. I envision a world in which clinical
operations can share information seamlessly with regulators, service
providers, and partners through common standards and processes. The
ultimate goal is to achieve positive outcomes for patients quickly and
cost-effectively.
Earning an MBA from Temple University helped launch my information
technology career decades ago. More recently, I earned a Certificate
in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the
Sciences (now part of Saint Joseph's University).
Ethical principles are foundational to my ability to help clients
reach their goals. My Project Management Professional certification
(PMP) and membership in the Project Management Institute (PMI)
requires me to observe the
PMI Code of Ethics.
