Ken Keefer helps pharmaceutical
companies gain more value from their business data. He started Keefer
Consulting after ten years as project manager, business analyst, and system
architect for a Fortune 500 company and several consulting firms. He
was a Manager for Ernst & Young until 1989 when he founded Keefer
experience at these firms included clarifying
business objectives and system requirements by facilitating the development of
strategies, models, and project plans by client managers. Ken began Keefer
Consulting to develop and provide training for CASE methodologies and modeling
tools to companies including DuPont, SeaLand, Betz Labs, and Philadelphia
Electric. He also helped companies develop standards and practices for
adopting these methodologies and tools in the early 90s. He began focusing
his practice on the pharmaceutical industry in 1997 when developing a customer
model for a major manufacturer.
He received his MBA from Temple University in 1979 and completed certificate programs in Six Sigma and Business Analysis at Villanova University.
He earned a post-graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences in 2016.
Mr. Keefer serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) and is
past Program Chair for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Data Management Association (DAMA).
