About Keefer Consulting
I started Keefer Consulting to serve clients more effectively. While my experience as manager for a Fortune
500 company and a Big Four professional services firm helped shape my capabilities and vision, the autonomy
of being an independent consultant has allowed me to pursue honest, productive relationships with clients I
My work has involved defining business requirements, designing fit-for-purpose solutions, and guiding projects to achieve business goals. I have filled lead roles on R&D and commercial IT projects for clients including Merck, Pfizer, and GSK. I managed development of the TMF Reference Model Exchange Mechanism Standard, Version 1 and continue to serve that initiative.
I help biopharma research companies transform clinical operations while incorporating machine learning and a focus on quality by design into their organizations. I envision a world in which clinical operations can share information seamlessly with regulators, service providers, and partners through common standards and processes. The ultimate goal is to achieve positive outcomes for patients quickly and cost-effectively.
Ethical principles are the foundation for any success I have in helping clients reach their goals. My association with the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) requires me to observe the IMC Code of Ethics and the PMI Code of Ethics.
Earning an MBA from Temple University decades ago helped launch my information technology career. More recently, earning a Certificate in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences helped me build on my project experience to become a trusted management advisor. I am recognized as a Certified Computing Professional (CCP) by Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.
